About me
With 20 years of leadership experience spanning global consumer goods companies and NGOs—including 11 years working abroad in Rome, Sydney, and London—I’ve navigated the highs and lows of high-pressure environments firsthand.
My own journey with stress and overachievement led to a pivotal realization: sustainable success requires a different approach. I did a behavioural experiment and set myself the challenge of not focusing on achievement for one whole year. This meant stepping back from relentless striving and external validation. The result? Better performance, stronger leadership, and improved wellbeing—addressing your overachievement pattern and working smarter beats working harder.
This experience led me to found Perfectly Lagom in 2020.
I believe that lasting success demands “just the right amount”—the Swedish meaning of lagom. Not settling but applying effort precisely: knowing when to push and when to pause.
This is the antidote to hustle culture. I help individuals and organizations replace burnout with sustainable excellence—so achievement elevates rather than erodes.
The name Perfectly Lagom embodies the Swedish philosophy of balance—’just the right amount’—applied to sustainable high performance. I believe true excellence isn’t about relentless intensity, but the ability to modulate effort like a dimmer switch: prioritizing wisely, conserving energy, and avoiding burnout while staying effective. Rooted in resilience and adaptability, we help leaders and organisations thrive by replacing rigid perfectionism with purposeful flexibility—because lasting success is neither “all or nothing,” but lagom: perfectly balanced.
